Hi, I was wondering if anybody could help me. I have just bought a Lifecam VX - 1000 which says it should work fine with Windows Vista, but I am having trouble getting it to function.
I inserted the disc and installed the software and drivers as intructed - which seemed to work fine - then inserted the USB plug for the camera when promted. My computer does not seem to detect the camera when it is plugged in though. I have tried using each USB slot on my computer but have had no luck. Canon Mg7100 Driver Windows 10. I then uninstalled the software/drivers and reinstalled them.

Still with no luck. I read on the Miscosoft support page that if you had previously installed a Logitech webcam then you could experience these problems, and was then told to download Logitech drivers. I did this, restarted my computer, and STILL had no luck. Right now, I have removed both Logitech and Lifecam software/drivers and am about to give up, but if anybody has any idea what I could do. Windows Vista is really driving me nuts.
Nothing seems to work with it! Intrestingly enough im having EXACTLY the same problems. My mother has just purchased one of these and I have been trying to set it up for her but to no avail. Ive downloaded the vista drivers from the website yet it still will not detect the camera.
