So upgraded through USB stick on Stream 11 from HP. Install went fine, but many drivers not installed including the Synaptics ClickPad. So I used a USB mouse and navigated to HP site. Installed their Support software and proceeded to install all the chipset drivers and motherboard drivers. Bios was correct and installed the Synaptics driver from HP for Windows 10 which says was released 8.10. Linksys Ae1200 Driver Windows 10 here. 2015. It also indicated it installed correctly. Latest Synaptics Touchpad Driver Released for Windows Synaptics Touchpad Driver Download. Latest Synaptics Touchpad Driver for Windows 10. Hp OS: Windows 10 64bit.
Tried troubleshooting driver to compatibility mode for Windows 8. Said it fixed the issue but still no joy. Apparently there is a issue with Synaptics touchpads? At least other notebook owners are also having similar issues. Is it just a matter of getting the drivers fixed or is there something we can do now to correct issues? Frankly I am so disappointed with Windows 10 upgrade experience so far.
