Early Monday Morning Windows Update attempted to install a new driver for my NVIDIA Quadro FX 880M on my Lenovo ThinkPad laptop. It failed with the error code 0x800706BE (at least I thought it failed). In the Events tab of the video card's properties, it shows: (1) Device service added (nvlddmkm) (2) Device installed (nvltwu.inf) (3) No errors are shown. (4) The previous entries in the Events tab were from a week ago when I installed the November Update. I am not sure what this error is telling me. Since the version is different from what was installed over week ago, I assume something was installed, but I don't know why I received the error.
