Hi there – I upgraded my Envy 4 to Windows 10 as follows: Removed the 32gb mSata cache drive, replaced the HDD with an SSD. Clean install of Windows 10 64-bit, installed HP Support Assist (which is ‘happy’) and HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection (even though SSD) – the latter to remove the only ‘unhappy’ check mark in Device Manager. Hercules Rmx Driver Windows 10 more. All works very well EXCEPT the laptop battery. The battery charges (battery meter says “fully charged 100%” - unplug power, promises 5h 40m life – about what it was under Win 7) and the laptop can run on the battery, but the laptop completely black-screen dies without warning when the meter gets to ~40% (much less than 5h 40m). Plug in power and the meter is very confused – saying it will charge in 1m, then removes any reference to time.
